(outlink) Relaxing under pressure - performance hypnosis

National Soccer Coaches Association of America has an article on "Performance hypnosis" online, with some details of how Keith Wilson teach soccer professionals better performance. This should apply to any high-stress situation where "going into zone" is relevant. The article is here.

  • While i agree with the article to some extent, i also advocate the fact that if you love some and want something with a passion then the nervousness in such a position can only aid you.
I have been playing soccer for the last 12 years and i love it, not like, LOVE.
When i step out onto the field, the exhilaration and adrenaline rush that i get is undescribable, except in a PU situation - when you approach that HB10 and are in the middle of a convo, an interesting convo where you are leading it down a sexual pathway, you know straight away what you want, your feelings are natural, it dosnt take any eye rolling exercises to put you into the correct state of mind to close the deal, all it takes is you being in the room, being you (to some extent) and enjoying the process which is taking place.

    Sarge On...
